This was a big milestone year for me in many ways.  First and foremost it was my 20th Pan Mass.  Second and probably as important, I was not injured at the starting line&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Those of you that recall last year&#8217;s journey know it was one of my toughest.  This year I&#8217;m please to say it was one of the smoothest and easiest rides I&#8217;ve had.  It&#8217;s amazing how having no injuries makes training easier and the journey much more fun.  Though the stories aren&#8217;t nearly as good.  Suffice it to say that number 20 was a banner year and I look forward to coming back and riding number 21 in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Once again I would like to thank you for sponsoring me in this very worthy cause and for letting me ride on your behalf.<\/p>\n<p>Highlights and some statistics (as of 8-17-2008)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current fundraising: $26 million\n<li>Fundraising goal: $34m\n<li>Kids rides have raised: more than $750,000\n<li>Registered Riders: 5558\n<li>Off the line: 5,237\n<li>2-day riders: 3,946\n<li>1-day riders: 1301\n<li>Male\/Female: 63\/37 (females gained by 2%)\n<li>Average Age: 43 (I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m over by 5 years&#8230;  Whatever happened to the days I was younger than the average?)\n<li>Avg.
